Each book includes 3 classic stories. The student reads 3 pages and answers multiple choice questions about what they just read. They answer the questions by turning the colored spinners that are built into the back cover of the book. To check their answers, they simply turn the page to see if the colors match up. This is a great item for children to practice and develop reading comprehension skills while having a lot of fun. The stories are broken down to only 1 or 2 simple sentences per page, so it is not overwhelming.

The books teach also test-taking skills. All students have to take state tests at some point, and most are multiple choice tests. The providers really liked the fact that using Spin and Match could help reinforce testing skills for their special needs students.
