Is it expensive
to get started?
No, the base kit is regularly priced at $199 for more than $400 worth of
sample books and supplies. There are usually monthly specials for
smaller kits priced as low as $20. This is always a great deal to start
your own business!

How
much money can I earn?
That depends on how much you want to work. You can easily make at least
$60-$75 for an average home show . Book fairs and direct sales vary.
With no territories, you are able to sell to friends, family, teachers,
parents, grandparents, schools, preschools, and libraries anywhere in
the country! The opportunities are endless!
3.
What
training do I need?
The company provides you with a detailed manual that will get you
started. We will also help you. It's not rocket science, but
it can be a little confusing in the beginning. We are only a phone
call or email away.
There are area meetings, as well as, regional and national training
sessions which are recommended to you, but are not required. We
also do teleconference and web-based training. No degrees
are required - just a love of books!

Can
I work part-time?
YES! Usborne Books
encourages people to work alongside their families or current jobs. You
can work as much or as little as you wish, but there is obviously an
advantage to working at least several hours a week.

Can
I order books at a discount?
YES! You can buy books wholesale at a 30% discount, and even greater
discounts are available if you order during special offers (up to 75%
off!).

Is
Usborne Books at Home a known and stable company?
Yes. We are listed

7.
Is
there a sales minimum I must maintain?
There are no quotas or minimum sales required of consultants. Obviously, the more you sell,
the more extra money and discounted books you will receive and the
faster you will build a team of people to work with. It’s up
to you!

What
if I have a friend who would like to sell, too?
GREAT! More consultants are needed, especially in certain areas of the
country. We will be happy to talk with your friend and give her
the same great training we'll give you.
